It’s true… it happens at the end of every summer… members of our orthodontic family head off to college and we have to say goodbye. This summer was especially tough because we had to say goodbye to our former patient and longtime employee, Zoe M.
The good news is, we’re not just losing a friend, we’re gaining a future pharmacist! Zoe has been accepted into the six year PhD program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston! She hopes to pursue a career in Industrial Pharmacology. When I asked Zoe what she was most looking forward to, she said, “being in Boston and experiencing city life.” When I asked her what she would miss most about leaving Guilford, she answered with out a moment’s hesitation, “you guys!”… just kidding… she said, “my friends,” but hey, a girl can dream!
As you know, we may have lost one friend, but we gained another. Our little office family has grown once again. Madison resident Cheryl Homan is now a valued team member.
Cheryl wants you to know that, “My youngest daughter is currently a patient of Dr. Remington’s. The care and compassion that we have received by Dr. Remington and her staff throughout my daughter’s treatment has inspired me to want to be a part of creating those beautiful smiles. I hope to be able to help make wearing braces as fun and as enjoyable as possible!”
We work really hard on the fun part around here!
