Week In Review: 05-19-16
When I hear the words Purple Power, I immediately think of Kenyon College, my alma mater. Purple is our color and we definitely derive power from it. It represents our school spirit. Here in Guilford, Purple Power represents spirit of a different kind… the kind of community spirit needed to encourage students to live substance free lifestyles. Development Assets for Youth (DAY) organizers have been painting the town purple this week to help promote awareness of the spread of opioid abuse.
