As an orthodontist practicing on the Connecticut Shoreline, I belong not only to the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Connecticut State Dental Association, but also the Shoreline Dental Association.
These associations perform a number of functions. They provide support, information, and continuing education for practicing dentists and dental specialists, they work to provide free dental care to those in need through Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy, and DOS (Donated Orthodontic Services), and now our local association is providing a $1000 scholarship to any shoreline resident* studying in the field of Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, or Dental Technician in 2016-2017.
If this describes you, please contact my office so we can provide you with an application. The deadline for submissions is May 13, 2016.
If you are interested in learning more about a career in orthodontics, I would be happy to discuss it with you. You should also check out this link to my website.
